Neu-Ulm

The cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm
@ Neu-Ulm UAS

The city of Ulm has a population of 122,000 and Neu-Ulm has about 56,000 inhabitants. Together the two locations have three universities and offer a pulsating and attractive place to live and study on the banks of the river Danube. The Baden-Württemberg city of Ulm is known for its minster and its steeple which is the highest in the world, and for the old part of the town with its numerous half-timbered houses; in contrast, the young Bavarian town of Neu-Ulm is the site of dynamic growth.

Both locations offer a huge range of cultural and leisure opportunities with theatres, cinemas, museums, exhibitions, classical and jazz concerts, traditional and modern festivals.

The modern building of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences is located in the Neu-Ulm district of Wiley and the campus is set in a local park.
