(Residence Permit)
Non-EU nationals may have to apply for a “Aufenthaltstitel” (residence permit) for their stay in Germany. Residence permits issued include "befristete Aufenthaltserlaubnis (a residence permit issued for a limited period of time), the EU Blue Card, “Niederlassungserlaubnis” (permanent settlement permit) or “Daueraufenthalt-EG” (EC long-term residence permit).
